The Poetry of Roger Rock

Roger Rock’s poems

Blessed with the poetic flair of Wordsworth, Keats and Byron, we are delighted to publish here, for the first time in human history, the literary genius of Roger Rock. Roger – you rock!

Piffle

If I was a piffle
In the nipple
Of a mighty missile

Or a taco
In the back-o
Of a sack of old tobacco

I would never
Get the better
Of a Greta Thunberg letter

Simply limply
Let her languid language
Lead me to regret her

The Wanker

Why am I a wanker?
Is it that I like to jerk?
Jerking is an anchor
Stops me floating off the earth

Glad I’m not a banker
Rotting in the grimy zoo
Why am I a wanker?
Haven’t got a fuckin’ clue

Silver Golden

Silver
Golden
Golden drizzle
Dribble down me
As I piddle

Piddle
Diddle
In the middle
Splishing splashing
As I whizzle
